History
Six Innovation was founded by Mattias Jalenius and Ivan Lapitski in November 2011. The company’s mission is to transform the home automation market. Our goal: to realise an interoperable, future-proof concept for "smart homes".
Having analysed the market, it was clear to us that an internet-based standard is an absolute must: in the future, homes need to be able to support all manner of connected devices as well as ensure their interoperability. In the connected future, if all manufacturers focus on what they do best, consumers will no longer have to worry about interoperability.
In the spring of 2012, our concept became reality in the form of a set of working devices.
With the anticipated boom in internet-connected home automation products still yet to materialise, SIX took the opportunity to use its technology as a spring-board by helping other product manufacturers interested in connecting their devices to the internet of things.
Today, Six Innovation focuses on providing manufacturers with the infrastructure and technical services they need to be able to provide their products with internet connectivity.

Mattias is a specialist in hardware construction and embedded software. Since 2006, he has been involved in many successful, next-generation embedded projects for some of the largest companies in Sweden.
Ivan Lapitski

Ivan has worked in software development for AMR in Sweden since 2006. During this time, Ivan has helped develop everything from embedded communication modules to installation tools, production systems and meter readout systems for AMR. Today, these solutions are used by some of Scandinavia’s leading utility providers.
